Core Commitment: SnoreBox is a privacy-focused sleep sound monitoring tool. We deeply understand the private nature of the sleep environment, which is why we promise: all your sleep audio data is processed and stored entirely locally on your device, and we will never upload your recordings to any cloud servers.
1. How We Collect and Use Your Data
To provide snoring detection and sleep analysis features, SnoreBox needs to request the following system permissions, but we use them to the minimum extent possible:
Microphone Permission (Core): Used to capture ambient sounds while you sleep. The audio stream collected by the microphone is only fed in real-time to the device's local audio analysis engine to identify sound characteristics such as snoring, sleep talking, or sleep apnea.
Usage Data: We do not collect any personally identifiable information (such as your name, phone number, etc.). Sleep reports, charts, and conclusions drawn from analyses are generated and displayed to you exclusively within the App.
2. Data Storage and Transmission
All audio files and analysis reports are managed entirely offline:
Local Storage: Recorded snoring audio and sleep data files are saved exclusively on your iPhone.
No Cloud Uploads: Our application does not contain any built-in code for transmitting audio data to external servers. Your recording data will never leave your device.
No Third-Party Sharing: We will never sell, trade, or transfer your sleep data or audio files to any third-party organizations or individuals.
3. Data Retention and Deletion
You have full control over your own data:
You can listen to, manage, or manually delete specific audio clips at any time in the App's history.
When you uninstall/delete the SnoreBox app from your device, all locally stored recording files and sleep reports will be thoroughly and permanently erased by the system, rendering them unrecoverable.
4. Third-Party Services and Analytics
To keep the application pure and secure, it:
Does not contain any third-party ad trackers.
Does not use any third-party SDKs that collect your private data.
5. Children's Privacy
This application is not designed for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since all data is processed locally, if you find that a minor has used this application without consent, you can uninstall it directly from the device to clear all local records.
6. Changes to the Privacy Policy
As the App's features evolve, we may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any major changes will be posted on this page, updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. If changes involve requiring additional data permissions, we will explicitly request your authorization again within the app.
